Robin Evans Salon - The Perfect Brow

If you are in search of the perfect brow search no longer. This week I had the urge to finally go somewhere to get my eyebrows done instead of trusting my faulty tweezers. I was tired of my uneven brows. Of course not everyone has completely symmetrical brows, however you can shape them to best fit their natural line and your face.
Naturally I wanted to get it done right away so I went on an eyebrow hunt for the best salons in NYC. I read about the 'celebrity' eyebrow sculptors and refused to pay their exorbitant amounts. Not to mention that many of them received less than enthusiastic reviews on the web.
I used to be a big fan of threading at many of the local Indian threading shop however I wanted the attention of someone who wouldn't be rushing me out of my seat. Don't get me wrong I still think they are great for the price, usually less than $10, but I wanted to try something new.
Based on the reviews that I read I decided to go to Robin Evans Skincare, a small studio on Broadway and Houston. If you look on citysearch you will find atleast 5 pages of great reviews from everyone. The studio was not pretentious and Robin was extremely nice and professional. I was unable to get an appointment with Robin (because I wanted one right away) so I got one with Jimena. She was wonderful and took the time to assess my eyes and my feautures in order to get the best look. I will definitely be going again.
