Who says that hair doesn't make a statement? Rihanna made a bold career move when she decided to chop off her hair and dye it black. You might think a haircut is no big deal, however in an industry that thrives on image, changing one's personal style can make or break you. Not to mention she made the decision without her label's permission but it has clearly worked in her favor. Since she's chopped off her locks she has reached super stardom. She looks edgy, and stands out from other artists in the industry. She says she got the inspiration for her new look from watching Aeon Flux and seeing Charlize Theron's black bob. This January issue of Allure Magazine Rihanna sports her fierce hair.
Black hair makes a strong statement. Stars with dark locks are considered seductive and perhaps a little elusive. Stars like Catherine Zeta-Jones, Salma Hayek, Dita Von Teese, Penelope Cruz, Lucy Liu, Courteney Cox, Megan Fox, Angie Harmon, and Talisa Soto. Awhile ago I decided to dye my hair black. I wanted a change and to stand out and with my new hair I definitely did. Pitch, black hair will get you noticed, you could always go blond, but I feel black is edgier and in my opinion more daring.
